    What's new

Merchant-facing changes to SiteRemora, grouped by release.

    1. v1.0

      SiteRemora 1.0

SiteRemora scans your storefront in a real browser, traces each issue to the theme file or the store content behind it, and writes the fix into your theme or catalog once you approve it. Every change is recorded with its before and after, and you can revert it.

      New

      • Full-store scans in a real browser: up to 150 pages on Shore, 3,000 on Reef and 5,000 on Deep Sea, with bigger stores checked in rotation.
      • Code fixes written into your theme as a diff you read before you apply it.
      • Alt text drafted from each image, which you edit and approve, saved everywhere that image appears in Shopify.
      • Color contrast fixes where you pick the color, and links into your admin for content only you can change.
      • Automatic rescans: daily on Reef, and after theme and product changes on Deep Sea.
      • Optional autopilot on Deep Sea for rule-based theme fixes: the page language, a skip link and skipped heading levels.
      • A Sunday summary email, and on paid plans a monthly change report and an export of every scan and fix.
      • Saves in the theme code viewer are recorded as fixes, so they show in your history and change report, and you can revert them.
      • Yearly billing on Reef and Deep Sea, with two months free.
      • Partner codes from your agency, which lower your plan price on your Shopify invoice.

      Improved

      • The health score now falls with each kind of critical issue left open and with how many pages they reach, and the line under it says what holds it. More than three critical issues read as needs attention.
      • Each check counts toward the score only on pages where it has something to test. Days on History from before this change used the earlier formula, so they can read higher.

      Fixed

      • Fixes stay fixed, in your results and your score, until a scan checks their pages again. A change scan that checks a few pages keeps the fixes on the rest.
