Partner Terms
These terms cover agencies, developers and consultants who put SiteRemora on Shopify stores they build or look after.
On this page
In plain words: your client stores get a partner price, or you get a share of what they pay; you describe the product accurately; and each store's account belongs to the store.
1. Who these terms cover
These Partner Terms are an agreement between Hunni Development ("SiteRemora," "we," "us") and the agency, developer or consultant we accept into the partner program by email ("you," "Partner"). Each store that installs SiteRemora does so under our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; nothing here changes them.
2. The partner rate
We issue you a partner code. When a store you build, maintain or manage installs SiteRemora and enters your code on a paid plan, the store's Shopify subscription carries a fixed discount down to the partner price:
- 1 to 4 client stores: $63 a month per store on Reef and $119 on Deep Sea.
- 5 to 19 client stores: $59 a month per store on Reef and $112 on Deep Sea.
- 20 or more: $55 a month per store on Reef and $104 on Deep Sea.
The level counts the client stores live on your code, and we review it each quarter. A store keeps the partner price it subscribed at; a new level applies to stores that subscribe after the change. Founding partners, agencies on a code by 31 December 2026, get the top level, the one for 20 or more stores, for their first 12 months at any size, then move to the level their store count earns.
The partner price applies only to stores you build, maintain or manage, including your own. Stores past their plan's page limit are quoted separately.
3. The referral share
Instead of the partner rate, a store can pay list price and you receive a share of the subscription revenue we receive for that store, after Shopify's revenue share, refunds and credits, for 24 months from the store's first paid charge. Nothing commits the store to those months: it pays month to month through Shopify, and if it stops paying, the share ends with its last paid charge, so a store that leaves after two months earns two months of share. The share follows your level when the store's first paid charge lands:
- 1 to 4 client stores: 20%.
- 5 to 19 client stores: 25%.
- 20 or more: 30%.
Founding partners receive the 30% share on stores that start paying in their first 12 months. A store is yours when it installs through your referral link or enters your code before its first paid charge. We pay quarterly, within 30 days of the quarter's end, once the amount owed reaches $50; smaller amounts carry over. Each store is on one program, the partner rate or the referral share, never both.
4. Billing goes through Shopify
Every charge to a store goes through Shopify's billing, as the Shopify App Store requires. The partner price shows on Shopify's approval screen and on the store's invoices. We do not invoice partners for their clients' stores. Agency-paid billing for client stores is not offered.
5. Clients and registration
- The account belongs to the store. The store owner can change plans, remove a code or uninstall at any time.
- Registration. Email us a client store's myshopify domain before it installs, or install through your link, and the store is registered to you for 90 days. If two partners register the same store, the first registration counts.
- No going around you. For 24 months after a registered store installs, we will not offer that store services that compete with yours or ask it to leave your code. Support conversations the store starts with us are part of the product and are not a breach.
- No going around us. You will not copy the product, resell it outside Shopify's billing, or use partner codes for stores you do not work for.
6. What you say about SiteRemora
Describe the product as it is: storefront scanning in a browser, fixes written into the theme and the catalog after an approval or by autopilot where the store turns it on, rescans, and a dated record of every scan and change.
You may not state or imply, in our name or next to it, that SiteRemora makes a store accessible, compliant or certified under any law or standard, or that it prevents complaints, demand letters or lawsuits. Our Terms of Service say the same to every merchant. A breach of this section lets us end your code at once under section 9.
You may use the SiteRemora name and mark to describe the partnership. We may list your agency on siteremora.com with your permission.
7. Data
Each store's data belongs to that store and is handled under our Privacy Policy. You see a client store's findings through the store's own Shopify admin, with the access the store gives you. We send partners only what the program needs: which stores are on your code, their plans, and the amounts behind any referral payment.
8. Taxes and payments
Partner prices are prices to the store; there is no fee to you. You are responsible for taxes on referral payments, and we may ask for a tax form before the first payment.
9. Changes and ending
We may change partner rates or these terms with 30 days' notice by email; a change in price does not reach a store already on your code until the next quarter. Either side may end the partnership with 30 days' notice by email, and we may end it at once for a breach of section 5 or 6. When it ends, your code stops working for new installs, referral amounts earned before the end are paid on the normal schedule, and the stores keep their accounts.
10. The rest
Section 3 (what the Service does not do), the disclaimers, the limits of liability, governing law and dispute resolution in our Terms of Service apply to these Partner Terms as well, with you in the place of the customer. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions: hello@siteremora.com.
