Text Spacing
Text survives wider line, letter and word spacing without being cut off.
Who it affects
Some readers with dyslexia set wider spacing in their browser so words stop running together. Fixed-height boxes then cut the end of the text off.
What a scan checks
- Every box on one page of each kind, with WCAG's spacing applied, for text that gets clipped.
- Spacing locked with !important so a reader's own setting can't apply.
How it gets fixed
- The box is allowed to grow with its text, and spacing locks are taken off. The page looks the same until a shopper changes the spacing.
Every change is shown before it is applied, recorded with the code it replaced, and reverts in one click.
